Think It Through collects the account, billing, recording, transcript, comment, integration, and usage data needed to operate the product. For service inquiries, we also collect the name, work email, company, website, deadline, problem context, approval status, and payment reference needed to review and deliver the requested work.
Recordings are private to the owner or workspace until a share link is created. Anyone with a share link can view that recording unless the owner removes or rotates access in a future private-link control.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Authentication is handled by Clerk. Emails, including inquiry and approved payment-request messages, are sent through Resend. Video storage is handled by UploadThing or Cloudflare R2, depending on the configured deployment.
Service inquiry data is used to qualify the request, communicate about scope, create an approved payment route, deliver the engagement, prevent abuse, and maintain required business records. We do not use an inquiry as authorization for active security testing.
We use PostHog for product analytics when configured. It captures pageviews and pageleaves; autocapture and session recording are disabled. For signed-in users we send PostHog an identifier with your email and name so we can understand usage by account — this is third-party processing of that personal data. We use Tawk.to for live support chat when configured. Enterprise customers can request a DPA and the current subprocessor list.
Integration credentials for Slack, Notion, and Linear are encrypted at rest and are never shown back to the browser after saving. Public viewer analytics use anonymous browser IDs and salted IP hashes rather than storing raw viewer IPs.
We do not sell personal data. To request deletion or export, email support@thinkitthrough.co.
